How to print these Demon Slayer coloring pages

A few things that genuinely change how the finished page looks:
- Paper. Standard 20 lb copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils. If you’re using markers, move up to 32 lb or a cheap cardstock — anything lighter and the ink bleeds through onto whatever’s underneath.
- Print settings. Choose Fit to page or Actual size, not Scale to fit, which can crop the edges. Set color to black and white so you’re not draining color cartridges on line art.
- Printing on A4. These are laid out for US Letter, which is slightly shorter and wider than A4. Tick Fit to printable area and the page scales down with a small extra margin — nothing gets cut off.
- Coloring on a tablet. Save the PDF and open it in Procreate, Ibis Paint or any layered app. Set the line art layer to Multiply and color on a layer underneath it.
Getting the colors right
Color these however you like. But if you want them to match the anime, these are the details people most often get wrong.
- Tanjiro’s haori is checked, not striped. The pattern is Ichimatsu — a black and dark-green chequerboard — and the squares need to stay even. Pencil a light grid first, then fill every green square before you touch a single black one. Switching back and forth is exactly how the pattern drifts. His forehead scar is deep burgundy rather than red, and his hair is black fading to burgundy at the tips.
- Nezuko’s pink is warm. Think sunset, not bubblegum. The hemp-leaf pattern across her kimono is a slightly deeper shade of the same warm pink rather than a contrasting color — it should read tone-on-tone. Her outer haori is a faded black.
- The bamboo muzzle is not brown. This is the single most common mistake on any Nezuko page. Cut, dried bamboo is a pale beige-green, closer to ivory than to wood. The band holding it in place is light green.
- Zenitsu’s triangles all point the same way. His haori carries the Uroko scale pattern, and every triangle faces upward. Deeper gold-orange triangles on a lighter yellow ground. His hair is bright yellow, and the lightning around him should be electric yellow with a warmer orange right at the point of the strike.
- Rengoku’s flames run cool to hot going upward. Deep red-orange at the base, vivid orange through the middle, yellow at the tips. Lay the yellow down first and layer darker tones over it — that’s what gives flames their glow instead of a flat orange block.
- Inosuke’s boar head is off-white, not pink. Grey-brown around the snout and eye sockets, off-white everywhere else. Underneath the mask his skin is normal — the contrast between the wild mask and the delicate face is deliberate.

Which page is easiest for a young child? The chibi Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke sheet. Big rounded shapes, heavy outlines, nothing intricate anywhere on the page.
What color is Nezuko’s kimono? A warm, slightly peachy rose pink — not a cool lavender-pink. The hemp-leaf pattern over it is a deeper shade of the same pink rather than a contrasting color.
What is the Infinity Castle? It’s the shifting fortress where the final arc of Demon Slayer takes place, adapted into a film trilogy by Ufotable. The first film released in July 2025 and became the highest-grossing Japanese film ever made. The Inosuke sheet in this collection is set inside it.

What’s the best thing to color these with? Colored pencils give you the most control on the detailed sheets, especially Tanjiro’s checked haori. Markers look great on the chibi and easy pages — just use heavier paper so they don’t bleed.
