Meet the SuperKitties (and Their Colors)

SuperKitties is a Disney Junior preschool show about four kittens who look like ordinary cats at the Purr ‘N’ Play playspace, but suit up as heroes whenever trouble strikes in Kittydale. They solve problems with superpowers, clever gadgets and, most of all, kindness. Use this quick guide to pick the right colors for your SuperKitties coloring pages, or to decide which SuperKitty your hero kitty will be on any page.

Ginny: The Brave Leader

Ginny leads the team and uses her super-grippy power claws to climb, swing and leap. Color tip: orange and pink tabby stripes, with a pink mask and suit.

Sparks: The Smart Inventor

Sparks is the team’s techie, building tools and gadgets with his SuperKitty Kit. Color tip: yellow fur with spots, with a purple suit and mask.

Buddy: The Strong One

Buddy is the strongest kitty on the team and can curl into a bouncing furball to knock obstacles out of the way. Color tip: an orange suit and mask. Try him on the pages where a hero kitty lifts boulders, barbells and giant blocks!

Bitsy: The Kind Little Hero

Bitsy is the smallest SuperKitty and the kindest one too. Color tip: snow-white fur with a light turquoise suit. Our set has four Bitsy pages, including a simple one with no background for toddlers.

Mr. Puppypaws and Friends

Mr. Puppypaws, the fluffy-eared pup who often causes trouble in Kittydale, gets his own page playing ball. Pick soft browns and creams for his long, feathery ears.

Color, Then Talk: Kindness Activities

The show is all about empathy and helping others, so these SuperKitties coloring pages make great conversation starters for parents and teachers:

  • Buddy Helps a Lost Puppy: ask “How do you think the puppy feels? How can we help someone who is lost?”
  • Super Kitty Saves a Kitten and Hero Kitty Saves the Star Balloon: talk about times your child helped a friend.
  • Team pages: each kitty has a different power. Ask “What is your superpower?” and let kids draw themselves as the fifth SuperKitty on the back of the page.

SuperKitties Birthday Party Ideas

  • Birthday coloring page: the SuperKitties 4th Birthday Page has a blank banner where the birthday child can write their name.
  • Coloring table: print a stack of easy SuperKitties coloring pages, set out crayons, and let every guest color their own hero kitty.
  • Hero wall: tape the finished pages up as a gallery and give every artist a “super coloring” sticker.
  • Take-home favor: roll two or three pages with a ribbon and a few crayons for each guest.
